Lil Kay 256

Kayanga Lilian, known professionally as Lil Kay 256, is a vibrant Ugandan Reggae artist hailing from Jinja. Her musical journey began in the school choir, where her powerful lead vocals quickly set her apart. Even as a child, her talent shone through, leading her to win a trophy for best lead singer at a district-level competition with an original song. She further honed her skills in church choirs, performing at prestigious events.

Lil Kay's professional recording career kicked off in high school with a popular gospel dancehall track. After a brief hiatus to focus on her education, a friend's encouragement reignited her passion for music. This led to the creation of her debut single, "CALL ME," followed by a feature on Keyo Trevanz's gospel track "Mukama Amala." Inspired by her own experiences, her subsequent single, "NESUNZE," showcases her authentic storytelling and captivating sound.
