Leyna Kagere

Leyna Kagere is a prodigious young talent who discovered her passion for singing at the age of five. With the unwavering support of her mother, Leyna's extraordinary gift quickly blossomed.

Her remarkable journey gained significant momentum when she captivated audiences on East Africa's Got Talent, earning the coveted first Golden Buzzer. This pivotal moment launched Leyna into the spotlight, opening doors to a remarkable array of performance opportunities. She has graced stages at prestigious events such as United Nations Day, the Ministry of Water and Environment's Water and Environment Day, and the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre's Zakayo's Birthday. Leyna has also lent her voice to international platforms like Sessions Live and participated in the Little Miss Universe pageant. Her talent has even been recognized by royalty, performing for the Princess of Denmark at the Danish Embassy.

Further solidifying her artistry, Leyna released her debut album, "Goodday," showcasing her original compositions and establishing her as a proud Ugandan artist. Most recently, her powerful song "Don't Go to School" was featured at a significant conference organized by WHO Afro, CDC, and the UN, addressing the global fight against COVID-19.
