Kuru

Afekuru Joseline, known professionally as KURU, hails from the Arua district of Uganda, a proud Lugbara. Raised in Entebbe, her journey into music began in her youth. She was an active participant in school music clubs and a popular dancer, later becoming the school's MC and speaker for Interact. Early in her career, KURU showcased her talent as a professional dancer with prominent Kampala crews, performing for notable artists. Now, she is actively creating music, having released her single "Range Rover." KURU is an independent artist with aspirations of signing with a record label to expand her reach, while also cherishing her passions for fashion, chilling, and dancing.
