KS Alpha

KS Alpha is a resonant, rolling-tongued dancehall sensation on a mission to elevate Ugandan Ragga Dancehall to international heights. He envisions his music filling stadiums worldwide, a testament to his ambition.

Born Kamulegeya Sulaiman Alpha in Kampala, Uganda, KS Alpha has been performing since he can remember. Beyond music, he is an accomplished graphic designer, web designer, and programmer, running his own company, Alpha Effects.

His musical journey began at the Sharing Youth Center, leading to the formation of the group ‘Da Boyz with Attitude’. Despite early singles yielding little fanfare, KS Alpha persevered. His breakthrough came with the hit single "Am in Love," followed by the chart-topping "Ugandan Gal," which dominated the East African region and gained traction on Pan-African music channels.

KS Alpha has graced numerous high school, nightclub, and stadium stages across Uganda and the wider East African region. He has shared the stage with international acts such as Redrat, Goofy, Chaka Demus and Pliers, T.O.K, Shaggy, Shaba Ranks, Kevin Little, Brick & Lacy, and Elephant Man.

Inspired by dancehall legends like Bounty Killer, Shaba Ranks, and Buju Banton, KS Alpha's music is a vibrant blend of infectious rhythms and compelling lyrics. His current single, "Selector," is an electrifying party starter already receiving airplay on MTV Base across East Africa. Other popular tracks include "Konna Dance" and "Danda." He is currently in the studio working on new music, including "Dis Gal" and "Doctor," which reflect his deep faith.

KS Alpha has also collaborated with renowned international artist Collie Buddz on upcoming tracks "Mercy Jah" and "Senci." His music is a passionate tribute to his homeland, the Pearl of Africa.
