Kloud Dipo

Kloud Dipo's creative journey began at the tender age of nine, when Mugabi Jamil penned his first full fiction piece, inspired by the Sunday newspaper. This early spark ignited a passion for words, leading him to write poetry for senior students and later, lyrics for himself and underground artists.

His writing talent was recognized on NTV's DECEPTION, where he penned the final episode of the acclaimed eight-season series.

In 2019, with his mother's blessing, Kloud Dipo the artist emerged. His memorable verse on a remix of the Ugandan classic "ENO Mic Drop" announced his arrival. Driven by a desire to break boundaries, Kloud Dipo blends poetry with a unique "surrealist shit-talking" style, described as a "suggestion box" of ideas.

After featuring on several other tracks, he launched his independent career with Backhouse Records, a label co-owned with his cousin and producer, Shoodi Beats. Under this banner, Kloud Dipo has released the single "MAYOR" and the double feature "Duba Twist," featuring the songs "MPEEKA" and "KAWELA." He continues to explore new sonic territories, aiming to make listeners laugh and ponder with his distinctive lyrical artistry.
