Nantege Joyie, known as Joyie7star, is a dynamic creative hailing from Mutundwe, Kampala. She excels as an actor, voice-over artist, and rapper.

Joyie7star's musical roots trace back to her childhood, singing in church. Her rap influences include Old School legends like EVE and The Notorious B.I.G., as well as local artist Lyrical G. Her talent was so evident that friends even nicknamed her EVE for her impressive renditions of the rapper's songs.

Initially, rap wasn't a professional aspiration. However, a pivotal moment in a nail parlor, watching Kenyan rapper Barack Jacuzzi's "More Stress," ignited her passion for rapping. She began by sharing freestyles on social media, earning widespread praise. Participating in the MTN Rap Battles, though brief, helped her overcome stage fright. More recently, her unique Old School style was recognized in the GNL-sanctioned Dear Hip-Hop Challenge.

A familiar face at La Paroni's, Joyie7star began her career as a karaoke artist, performing original lyrics over Old School beats.
