Josh Ribson

Josh Ribson, born Joshua Muwangizi, is a dynamic Ugandan artist celebrated for his captivating contributions to dancehall, reggae, ragga, and afro-pop. His musical journey began at a tender age, honing his skills in the church choir. Ribson masterfully crafts his lyrics in local languages such as Lugosi, Luganda, and Swahili, weaving them seamlessly with English to resonate with a diverse global audience.

His debut single, "Nakwikomba," released from Jam Records in Mbale, marked the official start of his recording career. After a brief hiatus to focus on his education, Ribson returned with renewed passion, releasing tracks like "Pretty" featuring Dr. Denicris. He has also graced stages in Mbale, performing live music in various clubs.
