Joseph Sax

Joseph Sax, also known as Kizito Joseph, is a celebrated Ugandan saxophonist. His musical journey began with brass instruments in his youth, quickly progressing to the saxophone. He honed his skills under the tutelage of Dutch music teacher Petra Wotters, establishing himself as a prominent figure in Uganda's music scene.

Sax has shared stages with notable bands such as Zawuka and Janzi Band, significantly contributing to their distinctive sounds. His talent has been recognized with nominations for Best Instrumentalist at The Ugandan Music Awards (TUMA Awards) and the prestigious International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) in Jamaica, as well as the VIGA Awards.

Currently, Joseph Sax is dedicated to his debut album, "Koona," and continues to embrace new musical challenges.
