Jonathan H Owakabi

Jonathan H. Owakabi is a dynamic performing vocalist, music artist, and songwriter. Hailing from Jinja, Uganda, his diverse musical landscape spans zouk, reggae, dancehall, R&B, urban (new age), and gospel. Jonathan began crafting his own songs at the age of fourteen and is proficient in playing the keyboard, guitar, and drums. His professional recording journey commenced in May 2018 with the release of his debut track, "Muna-Uganda." Deeply inspired by the legacies of the late Mowzey Radio and the legendary Lucky Dube, Jonathan thrives on live performance and finds particular enjoyment in dancehall music. Offstage, his passions include basketball, jogging, and exploring new destinations.
