Jojo Wan

Joanne Wonders Mbonye, known professionally as Jojo Wan, is a Ugandan Gospel Singer, Songwriter, and Vocalist. Her musical journey began at a young age, deeply rooted in her faith. Growing up in a devout Christian family, she naturally found her voice singing at All Saints Church.

Her mother's love for worship, praise, and country music also shaped her early influences. In a poignant full-circle moment, Jojo's latest album, "Thank You," is a testament to a deeply personal experience: her sister's survival from lymphoma cancer. This event solidified her vow to forever serve and sing praises for the incredible things God has done in her life.

Jojo Wan draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of artists, including the late Elly Wamala, Choir Director Andrew Zzake, Pastor Brian Ddumba, Sheryl Caesar, and the iconic Bebe and Cece Winans. She proudly identifies as a "worshipper first," driven by a clear purpose and unwavering focus.

Her solo career blossomed after years of dedicated service as a worshipper at All Saints Church. Jojo's life's purpose is to "always bring awareness to the presence of God." She believes her music offers a powerful avenue to transform lives from the inside out, ministering to hearts, minds, and souls.
