John Patrick katende

John Patrick Katende, hailing from the Lwengo District, discovered his passion for music early, joining school and church choirs in primary school. Inspired by his mother, a church choir leader, his talent flourished.

During his university years, Katende honed his skills with CACEMCHO, the Catholic Centenary Memorial Choir at Christ The King Church in Kampala. He later served as Music Director and Trainer for the Sacred Heart Rubaga Cathedral Choir.

His vocal talents also led him to join Ebonies Uganda. Katende’s debut single, "MWANA GWE," quickly gained popularity across Uganda, followed by his release of "ONDAZEKO."
