John Green

JOHN GREEN, also known as *DA SOWETO GANGA BOSS*, is a Ugandan artist hailing from Ndaiga, Busitema. As the youngest of ten siblings, John's journey began in a humble village setting, a stark contrast to the success he has achieved. His passion for music ignited in the church choir, where his dream of becoming a musical artist took root.

John's artistic endeavors extend beyond music. He holds a diploma in Art and Decorations from Makerere University, a field he enjoys alongside business. Adventure fuels his spirit, while his faith as a born-again Christian provides a strong foundation for his life and work.

He has released several notable songs, including "MOONLIGHT (HELLENA)," "THE QUEEN," and "WINTYE KUNE," produced by Bassboi at Jah Live, Kampala. His gospel tracks, such as "PRAISE GOD," "GAITANO," and "HON JOHN PAUL," were produced by XCESS at XP Records in Busia Town. Gospel music remains central to his artistry, reflecting his childhood beginnings as a church singer.

Despite his success and the moniker "Soweto Ganga Boss," John prefers to be addressed without titles, emphasizing humility and respect. He is a proud Ugandan, deeply connected to his village and family, who are prominent business owners in Ndaiga. John finds inspiration in colors, with green symbolizing hope, white representing peace, and pink signifying love. He believes in the power of God, his own resilience, and the strength of his community.
