JK Lubanto

JK Lubanto, born Jacob Kityo, is a Ugandan rapper, singer, and songwriter celebrated for his distinctive hip-hop and rap sound. Raised in Kampala, Uganda, his environment fostered a deep passion for music. A graduate of Makerere University Business School with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Management, JK is a self-proclaimed "punchline king." JK is considered one of Uganda's most promising rap artists, known for his Afrobeats-infused style and his win as "Rookie of the Year" at the MTN UG Hip-hop Awards.
