Jeje

Utuku Jim, known professionally as Jeje, is a South Sudanese hip-hop artist based in Uganda. A songwriter and performer, Jeje discovered his passion for rap at a young age during high school. He is recognized for his singles "Alittle Higher" and "Own It," a collaboration with fellow South Sudanese rapper Catty.

Inspired by legends like 2Pac and a devoted fan of Eminem, Jeje centers his music around the theme of "Rap Healing Music" (RHM). Through this initiative, he aims to build his career and inspire and heal young people. For Jeje, who comes from humble beginnings, hip-hop is more than music; it's his culture, his strength, and his voice, an essential part of his identity.
