Jay P

Born Paul Omiria Epeju in Kampala, Uganda, Jay-P is the seventh of eight children. Raised with a strong emphasis on discipline and education, he developed a love for music early on. By his early teens, his passion for hip-hop had blossomed, drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres. He began performing at church events and school shows, honing his skills.

Despite facing challenges that led to him leaving school, Jay-P's determination to pursue his musical dreams never wavered. He channeled his ambition into building a comprehensive plan for his career, which included establishing his own record label and businesses. He pursued higher education in humanities and volunteered with the International Red Cross, integrating his humanitarian interests with his entrepreneurial endeavors.

Jay-P's pre-debut release, "The Unreleased Cut," paved the way for his debut album, "Credibly Evident." He aims to release a new album annually, a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft. He credits his parents for instilling in him both business acumen and a strong work ethic. Though he once dreamed of a career in basketball, music ultimately became his calling. Jay-P continues to navigate the music industry with resilience, facing criticism with the fortitude of a true artist.
