Ojok Jacob, known professionally as Jay O, is a multifaceted artist hailing from Purongo-Nwoya District, Uganda. His passion for music ignited in childhood, culminating in the recording of his first song in 2003. A songwriter, music artist, and audio-visual producer, Jay O also possesses a background as a medical laboratory technician and journalist.

Primarily focusing on gospel music due to his born-again Christian upbringing, Jay O's soulful and dance-infused tracks resonate with a powerful message. He has collaborated with notable artists including the late Lumix Da Don, Elton Loverboy, and Everlin from Australia. Jay O's artistic journey includes a performance at the GTZ Imagine Foto Safari project.
