Jang Luo

Opiyo Sunny, known by his stage name Jang Luo, is a Ugandan musician, singer, songwriter, and pharmacist. Growing up in Gulu City during the LRA rebel insurgency, his childhood was marked by the fear of abduction, often sleeping under verandas as a night commuter.

Jang Luo's music, primarily in Ragga-Dancehall and Afro styles, aims to inspire resilience. His purpose is to encourage listeners to rise above life's challenges, reminding them that even when it's difficult to ask for help, they are never alone. Through his music, Jang Luo strives to be a constant companion, sharing in both the joys and sorrows of his audience.
