Jam Rockhudz

Jam Rockhudz, born Brian Opio, is a Ugandan rapper and songwriter whose music is deeply rooted in his personal experiences. Raised in Lira district by his maternal grandparents after the passing of his mother, his early life profoundly shaped his artistic expression. His mother remains a central theme in his work, often described as his greatest treasure.

Jam Rockhudz began his musical journey at a young age, recording his first song, "Thanks To Ma Mama," which quickly resonated with his peers and established his presence in school. He continued to hone his craft, releasing tracks like "Hustle Hard," "Fed Up," "Heroes," "Am Winning," and "I Miss You," a poignant tribute to his late mother and aunt. These songs, primarily in English with touches of Luo, were featured on his debut solo album, "The Genesis."

A formidable presence in local rap battles, Jam Rockhudz secured three consecutive victories at Garden Palace. Later, he formed the dynamic duo DreamChaserz with Halani, releasing their debut single "I Need You." He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture.
