Index official

Okongo Alex, known by his stage name Index Official, is a Ugandan musician hailing from eastern Uganda. Born in the Tororo district, he is of Iteso heritage.

Index Official launched his music career in 2021, focusing primarily on dancehall. His debut single, "Kakune," featuring Navy Jayz, garnered significant airplay across the region. He followed this success with another hit, "Tap Tap," produced by Edie Dee at Acton Records. Fans can anticipate more chart-topping releases from Index Official.

Index Official is one of four siblings. He completed his O'level education at Kidoko Secondary School and attended Nyeminyem Primary School.
