GKatz

Katabazi George, known professionally as GKatz, is a Ugandan multi-media artist and actor. He is widely recognized for his graphic design branding and has received nominations for "Best Actor in a Leading Role" and "Best Upcoming Actor."

Born in Kitanga village, George grew up in Mbarara Town. He holds a Bachelor of Industrial and Fine Arts from Uganda Christian University and a Certificate in Graphics and Animation from Global Institute of Information Technology and Business. He currently lectures in ICT, Graphics, and Animation at Kibeho Training Institute in Mbarara, Uganda.

GKatz began his entertainment career in marketing and songwriting before transitioning to acting. His acting debut was in the local film "Gagumire," and he has since appeared in numerous films and television productions, often in romantic lead roles. He is frequently compared to other prominent Ugandan actors.

Under his production houses, GKatz Productions and Ankole City Actors, George has directed, starred in, and produced several films. His work has garnered significant popularity, earning him recognition as a leading actor and director in western Uganda.

Beyond his artistic endeavors, George is married with one son. He is the CEO of GKatz Designers, The Western Advertiser magazine, GKatz Productions, and Ankole City Actors, an entertainment platform dedicated to developing youth talent. He has also established a training facility offering professional instruction in acting, graphics, and animation.
