Gi Mara

Born and raised in Uganda, Gi-Mara is currently based in the capital city, Kampala. He is passionate about social and spiritual transformation for eternal destiny.

A Christian, Gi-Mara accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in his youth. He is optimistic for a bright future in Christ, driven by a profound desire to know and live out his definite purpose daily. His guiding principle is to ensure his part in the chain of humanity's co-existence with God remains unbroken, knowing he alone will account for the life he has lived. This commitment fuels his mission, as he states, "So that men can be drawn to God."

Gi-Mara's musical journey began in high school, where his passion for instruments was evident, even cherishing the scripture union piano in his student room. His first song, "Are You Born Again," was a collaboration with his high school friend. His debut performance took place during a school scripture handover ceremony.

Following high school, Gi-Mara continued to hone his craft, releasing music that has gained increasing recognition. His song "Dok Cen" achieved immediate radio airplay, inspiring further recordings, including the popular track "Paradiso." More music is on the horizon from Gi-Mara.
