About

Fyonna Nsubuga, a versatile singer and songwriter, brings a unique blend of Soul, British and Afro pop, R'nB, and Gospel music to the industry. Growing up in North London, Fyonna's musical journey began as a songwriter and instrumentalist, later gracing stages as a backing vocalist with the Tab Impala band and the Chalfont Angels live performing group.

Her solo career quickly established her as a prominent artist, leading to nominations and a music contract with a UK Triumph Music group. Fyonna's talent was recognized with the Uganda Hipipo award for Best Artist Outside Uganda for her album "Ndikulinda," a project that showcased her ability to craft Ugandan-tailored music across diverse genres.

Beyond her musical prowess, Fyonna is also a voice actress, lending her voice to the mother of the main character in the first Ugandan animation film produced in the USA. With a degree in Music Industry Management and a diploma in popular music practice, Fyonna's educational background complements her innate talent.

Known for her captivating stage performances and distinctive vocal originality, Fyonna Nsubuga is a force to be reckoned with. Dubbed "The Irresistible Dynamite," her achievements include being the first artist to release a song at a festival performance, impact the UK Ugandan music industry as a young artist, and perform two national anthems at Nambole in both French and English. She also holds the distinction of being the first UK Ugandan artist to have a song reach number one on BBC Radio 1 Extra under unsigned cuts and the first to be signed by a major publishing label. Her contributions have earned her nominations and recognition, solidifying her status as an influential artist in the music landscape.
