Favourland

Favourland, born RUKUNDO MOSES, is a Ugandan singer-songwriter dedicated to Christian Praise and Worship music. His musical journey began in Rubindi, Western Uganda, where he initially explored secular hip-hop and R&B, inspired by late-night VOA broadcasts of American Jazz, Country, and Rock. A pivotal shift occurred upon joining Bp McAllister College, a church-founded institution, which steered him towards Christian music.

Despite initial stage fright, Favourland's powerful voice and passion propelled him forward. He participated in various musical competitions, including the East African Tusker Project Fame, and his unwavering belief in his calling to lead praise and worship in Uganda never faltered.

A significant milestone was the recording of six gospel songs during his final high school year, with "I Need Your Grace" resonating deeply with listeners. He continued to hone his craft, leading praise and worship in church and later resuming studio work. Joining A-Z Records, Favourland released a collection of impactful songs, including "Fire," "Embeera," and "Jesus is Lord." He remains committed to elevating Praise and Worship music in Uganda, aiming to glorify God and draw souls to Him.
