Eric Walker Omutambuze

Eric Walker Omutambuze is a captivating vocalist, singer-songwriter, and producer whose music resonates across Reggae, Zouk, and Dancehall genres. Hailing from Uganda, his journey began in the church choir, where his exceptional vocal talents were first recognized. Inspired by the music he grew up with and further nurtured during his high school years, Eric's passion for music ignited.

His early career saw him record his first album with his brothers as the quartet "EPAPARTS." Later, as part of Fusion Band, he released his debut solo album, "Dereeva." This album, along with hits like "So Beautiful," "Naawe Osobola," and "neebyange," quickly dominated Ugandan airwaves and secured frequent requests on popular radio stations. His distinctive vocal style, blending Luganda and English with lyrical depth and wisdom, has earned him critical acclaim and collaborations with notable artists.

Following his studies in Commercial Art and Design, Eric joined Fusion Band, honing his live performance skills. This experience inspired him to form his own multi-talented group, One Smile Band.

Eric describes his artistic identity as a "walking art piece, a ball of creativity." His ambition is to elevate music to its optimum level, aiming for his music to be known and loved in households worldwide. He embraces the challenges of his career, driven by his profound love for what he does.
