Fortunate Emily, known simply as Emily, is a Ugandan musician hailing from Fort Portal in western Uganda. She gained widespread recognition for her hit song "Byokola," which became a staple on radio stations across the country. Emily's musical journey began in primary school, where her talent blossomed, leading her to win numerous school music competitions. She continued to hone her skills through secondary school at Mpanga SS and Lake View High School.
