Emily Best

Emily Best is a Ugandan Gospel and inspirational performing artist. Hailing from Ntungamo District, she is an IT graduate of Mbarara University of Science and Technology.

Emily first gained recognition with her hit single "Ori Ruhanga," a Runyankole song meaning "you are Lord." This song, released when she was still in high school, became a local radio sensation in western Uganda, showcasing her versatility, creativity, and vocal talent. Her exceptional ability even earned her the nickname "Celine Dion" from her schoolmates. Her captivating stage presence, evident from a young age, caught the attention of Agono Honda, CEO of Ago Nation, who recognized her potential and signed her while she was still a student.

Emily has lent her voice to Rab J Ekyafaayo's hit single "Kanyonza" and provided backing vocals for numerous other local gospel artists. Driven by a lifelong passion for music, Emily dreams of touching hearts and leaving a lasting impression through her songs.

She continues to captivate audiences with her infectious voice in tracks such as "Praise You," "Lwakitibwa," "Obuzurizi," and "Omwoyo WA' Mukama." Emily is currently signed with Ago Nation, a musical management and promotional label in western Uganda.
