Ellie Ryte, also known as Kalyango Elvs, is a Ugandan artist hailing from Mityana District and raised in Kampala. He began his musical journey after college, later joining a church choir. In 2023, Ellie Ryte released the dancehall hit "Gwemba Gamba." His diverse musical style encompasses Rugaflo, R&B, Zouk, and rap, and he is also a talented songwriter.
