Elijah Kitaka

Elijah Kitaka, a percussionist at heart, began his musical journey at a young age. He not only commands the drums with a dynamic flair, playing with time and building tension within the rhythm section, but also lends his voice to his captivating sound. Currently, he's crafting an album that artfully blends diverse influences, exploring themes of love and life.

Elijah has collaborated with a vibrant array of creatives including Michael Kitanda, Maurice Kirya, Sandy Soul, Shifah Musisi, Sewa Sewa, Kaz Kasozi, Myco Owuma, Levixone, Limit X, Giovanni Kiyingi, Mr. Alex Zwingerberger, Cindy, and Judith Adong. His performances have graced notable platforms such as Lana Festival, Blankets & Wine, Nyege Nyege, Bayimba Festival, Yella Cultural Festival, Jazz Safari, Milege Festival, Live at Fezah, and Doa Doa.
