Dumar Cane

Dumar Cane, born Bandale Japheth, is a Ugandan Hip-Hop artist whose distinctive sound he calls "CANE music." Growing up, he sought to find his own voice, believing everyone has something to say but some simply shout louder. Rather than drawing inspiration from mainstream Hip-Hop figures, Dumar credits his "home-grown" skills to his friend and fellow Basement Geeks rapper, Keri Bwomono.

Currently crafting his mixtape, 'The Keri Apprentice,' Dumar Cane urges the Hip-Hop world to "expect" him. Though still emerging from the underground, he confidently states, "I make good music."
