Andrew Stephen Katende, known as Drey 23, discovered his passion for music during his formative years. Though he initially focused on writing, a deep-seated love for performing persisted. Facing self-doubt and external criticism, Drey 23 hesitated to share his voice. However, a pivotal moment in a friend's studio ignited his courage. Despite his initial fears, the studio became his sanctuary, and with encouragement, he finally stepped into the booth, marking the beginning of his musical journey.
