Dr Raka Vamilo

Dr. Raka Vamilo, born Draga Joel, is a rising artist hailing from the Masindi district. Though his formal education concluded at senior four, his passion for music ignited at the tender age of twelve. Inspired by the legendary Jose Chameleone, whose music he passionately danced to in his youth, Dr. Raka Vamilo honed his talent despite early financial limitations. He recorded his debut tracks, "Vaginity" and "Money," in a local village studio. A proud Lugbara by tribe, he grew up in the Bunyoro region, embracing a Bantu identity. Currently the sole member of his crew, A We Yah One Music, Dr. Raka Vamilo is poised to make his mark on the music scene.
