Born in Alebtong district, Northern Uganda, Diamond, whose birth name is Ogwal Jimmy, is a dynamic artist whose journey is as compelling as his music. Despite facing significant challenges, including extended periods out of school due to financial hardship, Diamond's passion for music ignited.

He officially entered the music scene with a powerful gospel collaboration, "Unconditional," alongside Comic Obote. This track, a testament to gratitude, quickly gained traction, resonating across radio waves, social media, and various music platforms. Following this success, Diamond released a string of engaging singles, including "Brother," "Akullu," and the romantic hit "Cili," which further solidified his presence and led to numerous radio interviews.
