Denis Wamala

Denis Wamala is a Ugandan poet whose passion for words ignited at a young age. Initially sharing his oral poems with family, friends, and at school, Wamala's journey truly blossomed at Makerere University. There, he found his voice among the Lantern Meet of Poets, a community that nurtured his talent and solidified his dedication to spoken word.

Wamala's work often delves into pressing social issues, as heard in his recorded poems like "We Can Make It" and "Obufumbo." His artistry has gained wider recognition, with his poems released through Fantasies Music distributor, Makombo Music Parade, and produced with the renowned Kampala studio, Swangz Avenue.
