Dannie Blezz

Dannie Blezz, born Daniel Wamono, is the fourth of eight children from Mbale. A profound loss in his childhood led him to live with his grandmother, who became his guiding force, teaching him resilience, self-belief, and practical life skills.

Music was always present in Dannie's life, inherited from a family of singers and musicians. Though initially shy about performing, his passion for singing and dancing found an outlet when he was chosen as Entertainment Prefect at Yale High School. This role reignited his musical aspirations, and the crowd's enthusiastic cheers of "Danny Blaze Us!" led to his stage name.

His journey to the city brought him to Kampala, where he connected with producer Paul Shan. In 2015, his captivating performance at a Makerere University event caught the attention of Francis Mutekanga. Recognizing Dannie's raw talent and struggles, Francis took him under his wing.

Signed to Mashroom Arts and Entertainment, Dannie released his debut album, "Muntu Wange," featuring nine songs and two music videos. His rise to prominence has been marked by appearances on prominent television stations and performances at major events, including Eddy Kenzo's album launch and the Jinja Carnival.

Dannie Blezz views music as a calling and is dedicated to inspiring and uplifting aspiring artists, aiming to leave a legacy of support and achievement. With unwavering patience, determination, and focus, he sets his sights on international recognition.
