Daisy Ejang

Daisy Ejang captivated audiences as a finalist on Tusker Project Fame. Though she didn't claim the top prize, her exceptional vocal talent, striking beauty, and impeccable fashion sense left a lasting impression across East Africa.

Her musical journey began in church, a passion she continues to nurture. Ejang's talent was honed in various church choirs, including Nakawa Baptist and Rock of Deliverance. Currently, she leads the worship team at Mavuno Church, a place that supported her pursuit of music. She also briefly performed with Band Aroma before dedicating herself fully to her faith and burgeoning music career.

Drawing strength from her foster parents, Donald and Cherry Lupul, and inspired by her past, Daisy is driven by a profound gratitude for their unwavering support. Her former bandmates also played a significant role in shaping her musical path.

Despite financial constraints that interrupted her formal education, Daisy is determined to pursue a degree in Law or Mass Communication. She finds solace and strength in her faith, particularly in Psalms 91, to overcome fears, including a notable phobia of snakes.

A true fashion enthusiast, Daisy believes in presenting herself with confidence and flair, especially on stage. She prioritizes feeling like a "diva" over designer labels and is known for her bold style choices. While she embraces makeup for performances, her everyday look is understated.

Her experience at the Tusker Project Fame academy was a transformative period of intense work and personal growth. While challenging, it fostered strong bonds with fellow contestants, notably Kenya's Fess Kamau.

Adjusting to life after the show, Daisy navigates newfound public attention with grace. She has since released several songs, including "Teko," a testament to her gospel roots and a powerful anthem of strength. With a clear vision for her future, Daisy Ejang aims to become a leading musical force from Africa.
