Craftman

Craftman, born Princeton Julian Sempebwa, is a Ugandan artist whose journey from humble beginnings to a passionate musician is as compelling as his sound. Raised across various suburban towns, his early life was marked by frequent moves. At a young age, Craftman was drawn to the allure of music, even venturing out on his own with dreams of meeting his idol, Akon.

His path led him to an orphanage, "COGWHEEL TRUST," where an uncle recognized his talent and introduced him to dancing and musical instruments. This pivotal moment ignited Craftman's dedication, leading to countless hours of practice.

Initially torn between becoming an astronaut or a musician, Craftman ultimately embraced his calling. After completing his O'levels, he pursued music production, honing his skills. Later, he partnered with a classmate to establish a recording studio, laying the groundwork for his artistic future.

Craftman officially launched his musical career, quickly releasing popular tracks. He crafts a unique sound, blending R&B, Soul, Hip-hop, and Afropop with distinct Ugandan influences. A multi-talented artist, Craftman is a singer, songwriter, rapper, performer, and accomplished instrumentalist, deeply rooted in his Ugandan heritage and inspired by those who strive to improve the world.
