Omonya Peter, known professionally as Chosen Son 256, is a Ugandan recording artist and songwriter whose music primarily resides in the Gospel genre. He launched his professional music career with the debut single "Wachiperin." Chosen Son 256 received his education at Elgon View Primary School Tororo and Rock High School Tororo.
