Chikago Boy

Chikago Boy is a gifted singer-songwriter and arranger. He honed his songwriting craft at Purple Chord studio, collaborating with producers Ricko and Dickens Draina, and notably contributing to his sister Naira Ali's music. Chikago Boy excels at translating musical ideas and working seamlessly with producers and fellow artists, making the creative process fluid.

His songwriting credits include hits such as "Tulo," "Okikola," and "Mintu Wange" by Naira Ali, "Wotuuse" by Jackie Chandiru, and "Ngalabi" by The Fantasies. He has also contributed to tracks by Bebe Cool.

Now stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, Chikago Boy presents his debut single, "Sweet Nyam Nyam." This Afro-pop track, produced by Ricko at Purple Chord studio, represents a departure from his previous duo with KC Sammy. Chikago Boy describes "Sweet Nyam Nyam" as an homage to the traditional African courtship rituals of the past.
