Chief D

Chief D is a multifaceted Ugandan artist, excelling as a singer, instrumentalist, songwriter, dancer, and audio producer. His artistic journey began at a young age when he was discovered by choreographer Kalinimi Ben, the leader of the dance crew Kidpower. Following the group's disbandment, members pursued diverse paths. Chief D, then known as Ali Danton Amwiine, honed his skills in audio production and songwriting during high school. Upon achieving strong academic results, he fully committed to his music career, emerging as a gospel artist under the management of Escape Records, guided by manager Wiz V.
