Oryem Jimmy Carter, professionally known as Carter Pro, is a multifaceted artist hailing from Purongo, Nwoya district, northern Uganda. A natural performer, Carter Pro transitioned from DJing and MCing to become a prolific songwriter, composer, and producer. He is the driving force behind Soundline Recordz and Soundline Music, his own dedicated recording studio. While his influences range from rumba and country, Carter Pro masterfully crafts vibrant afrobeat sounds.
