Captain Dolla

Captain Dolla, born Aliyenka Lawrence Dawson, is a Ugandan lugaflo and dancehall artist and songwriter. He burst onto the music scene with his hit single "EMESSE," released during his Form Six vacation.

Raised in a family of seven, Captain Dolla discovered his passion for music in junior school, entertaining fellow students with his performances. He attended several schools for his primary and secondary education, including Police Children School, St. Balikuddembe Mitala Maria, Midland High School (Kawempe), Lugazi Mixed, Mukono Parents, and St. Peter's Nsambya.
