Kuloba Ben, known professionally as Byg Ben Sukuya, is an indigenous eastern-based rapper hailing from Mbale, Uganda. He began his rap career performing in both Lumasaba, his native language, and English. Byg Ben co-founded BAYINGA, an Afro-centric rap trio, with whom he performed at regional and international festivals.
Later, he embarked on a solo career, signing with Babanabasha Records. Byg Ben has released numerous solo projects, but he is most famously recognized for his hit track "Ndolelele," meaning "watch me." His breakthrough year saw him recognized with the Uganda HipHop Awards for Best Eastern Rapper.
