Buyinza

Buyinza is an Afrobeat soul singer based in London. Born and raised in Uganda, she moved to the UK with a lifelong passion for music, nurtured by her older brothers and early involvement in school music, dance, and drama. Her talent shone through as she led her church choir and recorded her first single in her neighborhood.

Though her initial move to London for studies seemed to pause her musical journey, she soon met producer Abubakar Kaseruuzi, leading to the creation of their music label, Mzuka Ltd. Their releases, including the collaboration "Xplode" with Prince A, garnered international attention with their high-quality visuals.

After a period of rebranding, Buyinza has re-emerged with a string of singles, most recently the vibrant Afrobeat track "Fine Gal." This song unapologetically celebrates her Ugandan heritage and her empowered sexuality. Buyinza emphasizes the importance of her supportive team and the strength found in collaboration.

With a growing social media presence and a reputation for captivating live performances across London and beyond, Buyinza has shared stages with notable artists. She is set to release more music soon and is planning an album launch for the following year, promising exciting collaborations.
