Brian Mutiba

Brian Mutiba, also known as Bwambale, is a Ugandan gospel artist and songwriter hailing from Bwera, Kasese. Currently pursuing his studies at Bugema University, Mutiba discovered his passion for music at a young age, initially contributing as a singer and an accomplished composer in church choirs. His zeal soon led him to present his original music in various church and school settings.

His musical journey flourished during high school, particularly at Ruhanga Adventist Secondary School and later Bugema Adventist Secondary School. It was during this time that he received a bursary for his songwriting and singing talents. Mutiba's song "He is Risen" earned a nomination for Gospel Artist of the Year at the LEGIT Awards. He is a registered music creator and songwriter with Broadcast Music Incorporation (BMI).

Brian Mutiba is recognized for his exceptional talent in both singing and songwriting. He is the son of Mr. Julius Muhindo and Mrs. Ruth Muhindo of Bwera, Nyakahya village. He is also the grandson of the late Sir Mukirania Samwiri, the first prime minister of the Rwenzururu kingdom, and the younger brother of renowned artist Daddie Jay, the founder of the Konjo Flo music style.
