About
Kalule Mujadidi, known to many as "Breezy Boy," is a Ugandan artist whose journey is as vibrant as his music. A songwriter, singer, and captivating dancer, Breezy Boy's life has been a testament to resilience.
Facing financial hardship, he spent five formative years on the streets of Katwe, where music became his powerful escape and a beacon of hope. Inspired by the late Ak 47, Breezy Boy began crafting his own songs, including early works like "Ayagala munigga," "Malaika," and "Kikili Dance."
A pivotal moment arrived when his brother connected him with Kamu Kamu Sacco in Kampala. His song "Kamu Kamu" opened doors, allowing him to build a solid foundation for his career. During this time, he also worked as a luggage carrier on William Street, demonstrating his unwavering determination.
The following year saw the release of "Black America" and the widely embraced hit "Bulamu Bwerere." This Afro R&B track, produced by Nexo and Morris, marked his breakthrough, earning him recognition and a place among musicians. "Bulamu Bwerere" also featured a visually stunning video by Zyga Phix, with styling by Tip Nazzi, solidifying his artistic vision.
