Bobi Wine

Robert Kyagulanyi, known globally as Bobi Wine, is a prominent Ugandan musician and leader hailing from the Kayunga District. A graduate of Makerere University, he burst onto the music scene with early hits like "Akagoma," "Funtula," and "Sunda," quickly establishing himself as a force in Ugandan entertainment.

Initially a member of the influential Fire Base Crew, Bobi Wine later founded and now leads the Ghetto Republic of Uganja. His career has seen him tour internationally, including a significant visit to the United States. Beyond music, Bobi Wine has also been recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit, holding a professional boxing license from the Uganda Professional Boxing Commission.
