Blu3

Blu3, a dynamic Ugandan all-girl band, emerged after winning the TV show Coca Cola Popstars. Their name, a clever play on words, signifies "Beautiful Ladies from Uganda." Featuring original members Jackie Chandiru, Lillian Mbabazi, and Cinderella Sanyu, they quickly captivated audiences.

Their debut album, "Hitaji," produced chart-topping singles like "Hitaji," "Frisky," and the infectious afrobeat track "Tomalaako." The album's launch was a massive event, drawing thousands of fans, and the "Hitaji" music video earned a prestigious Pearl of Africa Music Award for Video of the Year.

Following Cinderella Sanyu's departure to pursue solo endeavors, Mya Baganda joined the group, and the band continued as Blu3. They returned to the studio with producer and manager Steve Jean for their second full-length album, "Burrn." This album featured collaborations with Navio from Klear Kut and included hit songs like "Nsanyuka Nawe," "Ndibeera Nawe," and "Nkoye." The title track, "Burrn," secured the Video of the Year award at the Pearl of Africa Music Awards.

Blu3's impressive accolades include multiple Kisima Awards and PAM Awards, alongside nominations for Kora Awards and Channel O Music Video Awards. Their music has resonated across continents, leading to extensive tours throughout Africa and Europe.
