Billy basil

Billy Basil is an ITesot artist and songwriter, born Okia Basil in the Kumi district of Eastern Uganda. His musical journey began in primary school, continuing through his time at Mukono Central View High School, where he served as entertainment prefect.

In 2015, he founded his own music label, Teso Music Empire (T.M.E.). Billy Basil proudly represents his hometown with the phrase "Mukongoro product." His notable tracks include "Uber," "Akontong One Night Stand," and "Love Lokolo," the latter recorded with producer Zegy.
