Before Ckristu BC

Before Ckristu BC, also known as Mbabazi Akram, is a Ugandan Hip-hop artist, record producer, songwriter, and graphic designer. His artistic journey began with rap battles, quickly leading to a win in the Hip-hop Canvas challenge. This success landed him a spot on a project with Platinum Entertainment, a pivotal label where he honed his craft under the influence of renowned rapper GNL Zamba.

Platinum Entertainment served as his academy, with CEO Shadrack Kuteesa guiding his development. He further distinguished himself as the first runner-up in a subsequent Hip-hop Canvas challenge, securing a deal to record multiple tracks for the project's album, collaborating with notable artists like Keko and Qwela Band.

Driven by a passion for the genre's growth, he co-founded Uganda Lyricist Lounge, a vital hip-hop showcase that amplified the Ugandan Hip-hop scene by creating platforms for diverse communities. This initiative also led to the formation of the rap group and label, T.L.T (The Lyricist Team). Under T.L.T, he released his debut single, "Tomba Wala," followed by "Up n Down." Before Ckristu BC is currently preparing to release his first solo album.
