Bebe Cool

Moses Ssali, known globally as Bebe Cool, is a pioneering ragga and reggae artist from Uganda. He launched his career in Nairobi, Kenya, and was among the first artists associated with the influential Ogopa DJs production house. Bebe Cool has since returned to Uganda, solidifying his status as a musical force.

He is renowned for hit singles such as "Fitina" and "Mambo Mingi," and has collaborated with Ugandan music veteran Halima Namakula on their crossover track "Sambagala." His discography includes solo albums like "Maisha" and "Senta," showcasing his lyrical prowess in Luganda, Swahili, and English.

Bebe Cool's talent has been widely recognized with numerous awards, including multiple wins at the Pearl of Africa Music Awards, where he has been honored as Best Reggae Artiste/Group, Best Male Artiste, and Artist of the Year. He has also received nominations at prestigious events like the Kora All-African Awards and the MTV Africa Music Awards.

Beyond his solo work, Bebe Cool is a founding member of the reggae group East African Bashment Crew, alongside Kenyan duo Necessary Noize. The group has released the album "Fire" and hit singles like "Africa Unite."

Bebe Cool is married to model Zuena Kirema and is a father of two.
